Transportation to get to the island is easy and cheap. The port of Skyros is considered one of the most complete public ports of the country.

The airport of Skyros is about 17 km from Chora with ticket prices being very competitive.

Ferries with the Achilleas ferry boat from Kymi, 1 hour and 45 minutes. There is also a ferry connection with the Northern Sporades

By air from Athens with Aegean Airlines, 20 minutes flight (www.aegeanair.com).

From Thessaloniki with Aegean Airlines (www.aegeanair.com) & SkyExpress, 40 minute
flight (www.skyexpress.gr).

In the summer months there are charter flights from Paris and Vienna.
